JOB TITLE: CDMA Core Network Specialist

PURPOSE: O& M of CDMA MSC & MGW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   	 	 	 	 	 	 
• Performing the MSC/MGW daily O & M duties.
• Review logbook and fault register to ensure smooth O & M.
• Review network statistics and coordinate with other departments if necessary.
• Exchange data configuration: B-number analysis, Barring analysis, Routing analysis, configuration of: SCCP routings, C7 signaling data, roaming data, etc. • Maintaining MSC/VLR nodes in accordance with the standards set out by vendor manuals and submitting O & M reports on regular basis to the supervisor.
• Ensuring prompt and effective fault attendance, rectification and escalating complex faults to the supervisor or vendor.
• Implementing software corrections received from manufacturers for system upgrade/modification.
• Ensuring system backups are done and transferred to external media.
• Handling any extra tasks given by the supervisor. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BSC in Telecom or equivalent qualification.
• Good in CDMA Technology.
• Good in C7 signaling and troubleshooting problems using protocol analyzer.
• Number analysis. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JOB TITLE: GSM Core Network Specialist PURPOSE: To cover GSM Core network back office duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performing the MSC/MGW daily O & M duties.
• Review logbook and fault register to ensure smooth O & M.

• Daily/Monthly Operations & Maintenance of CDMA IN
• Doing acceptance tests on the IN
• Doing configuration changes of IN
• Troubleshooting of IN
• Involved in all projects related to IN
• Engaging in other IN related duties whenever required
• Ensuring prompt and effective fault attendance, rectification and escalating complex faults to the supervisor or vendor
• Implementing software corrections received from manufactures for system upgrade/modification
• Submitting O&M reports on regular basis to the supervisor

• Any other tasks as requested by the supervisor EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At least Bachelor of Science in IT o related field.

• Good experience in CDMA IN (HUAWEI) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JOB TITLE: VAS Specialist REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: VAS Team Leader PURPOSE: • O&M of Roaming platforms Roamsalute/Traffic Steering/LRN/Feel@home/IRS
• O&M of Huawei VAS Services
• O&M of all third party VAS providers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure smooth O&M on the VAS nodes.
• Features enabling and configuring upon customer requests, short codes definitions, message broadcasting, routing administration,SMPP configuration • Perform system backups and transferring to external media.
• Review traffic management and system performance reports and coordinate with planning department if necessary
• Maintaining the VAS nodes in accordance with the standards set out by vendors manuals.
• Submitting O&M reports on scheduled basis.
• Ensuring prompt and effective fault attendance, rectification and escalation.
• Any extra task given by the supervisor EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At least Bachelor of Science in IT o related field.
• At least one year experience in the same role.
• Good communication skills OTHER COMPETENCIES: • Knowledge of O&M of SMSC/MMSC/VMS/MCA/CRBT is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Unix Administration,DB and Networking as well as windows server

• Operations and Maintenance (Vendor Requirements)
• Managing system and database security logins, users, roles and object
permissions & table spaces
• Prepare statistics reports related to CDRS
• E2E Mediation and Provision Activities
• Carry out regular operation and fault handling of the servers as first line support.
• Escalate critical faults to supplier’s second line support and following up.
• Creates and maintains good technical documentation (CDR-Flows)
• Knowledge on best practices (policy and procedures)
• Software Upgrade, Load Patches EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree In Computer Science or Equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in managing/supporting mediation
and provision and proven in-depth knowledge
• Experience in UNIX / Oracle database environments.
• Exposure to other applications and development languages such as

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JOB TITLE: Senior Database Administrator REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Snr Manager-Enterprise Applications PURPOSE: The Senior Database Administrators is fully responsible for managing Database Function/Resources and make sure All database system is Up and running and well tuned to serve business requirements properly and executed/delivered on time and provide support, assistance and making sure system availability at all times. JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide 24X7 support for Oracle database and Oracle application server • Monitor and report DB performance to maintain stable and error free environment. • Perform daily health check (DB performance, table space size etc) to ensure that all databases are running healthy. • Manage Backup, Security, and Controls of databases. • Manage Storage & IO performance issues related to databases. • Restore DB and application server whenever required. • Supervise Installation and upgrade to the ORACLE Server and Application Tools, if needed. • Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database. • Creating primary database storage structures (table spaces) if need be. • Liaison with the systems, network and applications teams for issues related to support or business requirements
(storage, space, etc...) • Creating primary database objects (tables, views, indexes) if need be. • Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers. • Enrolling database users and maintaining system security, thus restricting access only to authorized database users. • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database. • Planning for backup and recovery of database information. • Apply patches as and when required, in liaison with change and release management procedure. • Ensures efficient usage of the disk storage hardware used for data base systems. Monitor, adjust and forecasts future usage. • Trouble shooting issues related to Billing. • Resolve issues surrounding the Billing Applications. • Monthly KPIS – Bill Runs, GL, Interconnect as per the set deliverables, Printing, PDF, Email • Availability of Billing Applications 24X7 • Investigate failure/errors on Billing Applications • Co-ordinate with support team for changes (mediation & provision) • Interfaces for provisioning of services (available at all times) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
OCP, OCA certification is preferable Understanding of Unix/Linux environment, proficient in Shell scripting Oracle application server, SOA, BPEL knowledge Working knowledge in Oracle 10g Database administration including H/W cluster A minimum of 3-5 years working experience as Oracle DBA SQL Plus, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting knowledge Able to handle, prioritize, multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of English and common local languages A University Degree or Advanced Diploma preferably in an Information Technology (IT) related field.
