ZANTEL SWAHIBA SERVICE

1. What is the Zantel SWAHIBA service?

This is a service whereby a Zantel subscriber can send a request to a make call to another Zantel subscriber, and the called party will pay the cost of the call. This is a Value Added Service (VAS) for Zantel prepaid subscribers to initiate and make a reverse charged call.

2. How do I use the SWAHIBA service?

To use the SWAHIBA service Zantel customers need to dial # followed by the number you want to initiate a SWAHIBA call request.

The called party will receive the call and notice the calling party number “Caller ID” on his phone screen as normal. If the called party decides to pick up the call, he will be able to hear a recording message that says:

Welcome to Zantel’s SWAHIBA Service, You have an incoming “reverse Charged Call”, please press 1 to accept, press 2 to reject, press 3 to add the caller to agreed list or 4 to block this caller

If the called party accepts your call, the call will be charged and deducted from their account.

3. Do I get charged for using SWAHIBA?

If you are sending a SWAHIBA request to another Zantel subscriber, there is no charge, but if the person you want to call accepts your call, the call will be charged and deducted from their account.

4. Is it possible to send a SWAHIBA request to other operators?

No, it is not possible; SWAHIBA service is for Zantel subscribers ONLY.

5. What is the maximum number for a SWAHIBA request?

There is no maximum number of requests a subscriber can make.
