Packets in this context mean data. GPRS is also one of the latest advancements in mobile data. With Zantel GPRS you can
now access your favourite webpages on the mobile phone or download files onto your computer.
With the WAP ACCESS, one can access a website or the mailbox (yahoo, hotmail, etc), on the mobile phone.
With this service also, the web pages fit correctly and clearly on the phone to make viewing very easy.
One can browse any website and also send mails
using the web mailboxes.
With the WEB ACCESS, one can access any website or download files on to their computer using; Bluetooth connection,
infra-red connection, data connection cable or the use of the data card which will be coming out very soon
Go to the handset’s connectivity settings on your handset/devices and add the following parameters:
GPRS Access Point Name: Znet
GPRS User Name: None
GPRS Password: No
In order to use the GPRS applications, you must have: (Internet over GPRS)
• GPRS enabled handset.
• GPRS service activation from ZANTEL
• A mobile or laptop/PC to use Internet over GPRS.
• A cable to connect your handset to your laptop/PC.
• Modem software.
The GPRS are paid services and the following would be the charges:
